Wine is poetry in bottles:
In this wine cellar, poetry is also noticeable in the detailed design of the room. The small apse creates an almost sacral atmosphere. This spatial impression is enhanced by colored light from below.
Wine Wall
An individual bottle refrigerator for wine creates a pleasing visual connection between bar and kitchen. The lighting of the bottles also provides oblique colored light reflections.
Tradition and Modernity:
A semi-circular vaulted old brick vault is the traditional architectural basis of this private wine cellar. The glass-cut through the entire space brings the leap into the modern and provides a generous view.
“Wine drinkers look good, are smart, sexy and healthy…”
Hugh Johnson, british wine books author
This also was the idea of our client, who designed this small, fine wine cellar. Each bottle has its own special place here. Wine crates are not simply stacked, but stored on excerpts that are pulled out when needed.

Grandmas corner bench reloaded:
Every kitchen with a corner bench is a convivial, family-friendly kitchen, even if the corner bench has been implemented as a modern upholstery variant and the kitchen with a 4-meter-long cooking block including a stainless steel cooker hood belongs more to the modern high-tech world.
Kitchen as an art object:
Fornasetti furniture, macassar veneer and baroque stone inlays are part of this kitchen concept, which is therefore more like a work of art than a cooking area.
A kitchen for cosmopolitans
Anyone who travels the world a lot appreciates a feeling of “at home” even more. To live up to this feeling, the kitchen is part of the dining and living room. The Italian marble Nero Portoro gives a masculine, powerful touch, which looks like an abstract painting on the back of the kitchen and the counter.
Cooking with Contrast:
The stainless steel and corian kitchen block provides the perfect equipment for preparing every culinary sophistication. The rear panel of the appliance, made of 200-year-old, spatulated oak planks, creates an archaic contrast to the modern plastic kitchen sculpture.
A house for the kitchen.
A villa in the style of the 1920s, a modern, cubic extension made of Grauwacke only for the kitchen and a wellness house in the garden – this triad of senses was what a Cologne entrepreneur wanted. We designed the kitchen house with special attention to detail: a free-standing wine cabinet.
Celestial eye:
An oval ceiling cutout in the roof above the kitchen brings studio light into the room and brilliantly highlights culinary delights.

Project 5 | Bar Villa XXL
Project 6 | Bar Lodge Lanxess Arena
House Bar:
The bar on the 250 m² ground floor of this villa is a meeting point, workplace and party zone. Fully integrated into the flowing room concept, it has become the residents’ favorite place.
Wine is poetry in bottles:
In this wine cellar, poetry is also noticeable in the detailed design of the room. The small apse creates an almost sacral atmosphere. This spatial impression is enhanced by colored light from below.
Bar as a Spatial Sculpture:
A bar that is a cooking island, counter and bench at the same time. A sculpture in the middle of the room that playfully connects all living worlds.
Orangery with a Club Feeling
Brass leaf ornaments, a glamorous cabinet and a chocolate-colored 3D wallpaper – the orangery of this mansion looks like a luxurious gentlemen’s club.
Golden Times
“You always have to be at least a whiskey ahead of life.”
Humphrey Bogart
Where could that be better than in this golden bar with a custom-made wine cabinet from Switzerland?
Lodge with Bar
In the Lanxess Arena in Cologne, the client wanted a box like an Italian nightclub: the bar dominates the room as the central figure, flanked by upholstery work by Poltrona Frau.
Attic Studio Rheinauhafen

Design under the Roof
This loft apartment in Rheinauhafen is massively characterized by its location directly in the attic of the house. The brilliant height of the room in combination with the sloping window areas on both sides enables us to design a 5 meter high library with an “eye” to the Rhine.
Step up, step down..
Living on different levels gives the rooms exciting overlaps and also keeps you fit.
