New construction single-family home
Total area approx. 1100 m²

Draft 01

Pool – pavilion

The 14 meter long pool is crowned by a shady arbor made of rotating steel slats in dark anthracite. The pavilion houses the summer kitchen with grill and a lounge area with a sofa, carpet and loose armchairs.

Hortus Conclusus

The wellness area on the lower floor of the house can be experienced via a free-floating stone staircase that leads directly to the pavilion. The pool with a glass pane at the end sits like a large aquarium in the garden and functions like an oversized light at night.

Draft 02

Art of Forms:

The different levels of the house can be seen from the outside thanks to the clear demarcation of individual buildings. The garden floor opens up to the surrounding nature through massive glazing. The homeowner’s private study is located far back in the roof, floating like a nest above all other floors.

Villa Leandros Vol II Architecture

Athens
Conversion/extension private house
Total area inside: approx. 400 m²
Total area outside: approx. 1030 m²
Completion: mid-2024

Playful Facade

We designed the street front of the villa with 2 garages and the main entrance area as a long bar, covered with different types of natural stone and surfaces. A sand-colored travertine, sanded, rough and coarsely chipped serves as the facade, a turquoise in rich green marks special functions, such as the main entrance and the main garage.

Celestial Eye:

In the main entrance, a travertine roof shades those arriving. A large oval cutout in it creates a beautifully designed sunspot during the day that decorates the walls and floor like a light tattoo.

Fitness Oasis

The fitness area in the basement of Villa Leandros is basically on the slope: there is a treadmill, an elliptical machine, various strength machines and a yoga area on different levels. The highly polished wave metal of the ceiling looks like a view of the pool.

The wall for the mailbox system in the foyer extends over 2 floors. She wears a deep purple dress by Farrow & Ball called “Pelt”.

Staircase Symphony

The composition of the curved staircases with their massive, gold-lacquered balustrades is the only and outstanding design element of the public areas in the Pandion First residential building in Berlin.

Room full of light

The impressive height of the foyer is highlighted above all by the light: linear LED stripes on the ceiling and wall cladding make the upper foyer appear to float. Airy ceiling objects fly weightlessly in this shell of light.

Wooden Wave

The central building core is clad with a curved wall made of individual wooden slats. The impression of a large sculpture is created that dominates the room and combines all functions.
