Villa at the Castle

Louis Quatorze Stairs
The stairwell of this villa from 1915 looks like a castle. The lush, all-white stairwell is contrasted by numerous artworks on the walls. A fantastic light installation by Lasvit covering all floors crowns our creation.
Lustful severity
The large eat-in kitchen lives through the diversity of its material and design statements. Hot-rolled stainless steel, coffered wall coverings and a playful modern chandelier by Catelani create a unity despite their differences.

Babylon Berlin
The old and the contemporary Berlin are blended together as one through the design of installations that cover the walls of the Foyer; The foreground is composed of an abstract form-language and the backbround revives scenes from the TV-series Babylon Berlin.
Joints with Color
We have selected Living Ceramics Cava tiles which, as an essential design element, have colorful joints and offer special formats. Once completely laid, it has the effect of an ornamented carpet.

Cameron Designhouse – Haara 10
The cylindrical lanterns of the modern Haara chandelier are composed of glass and polished brass and cover the lighting element, creating a unique and beautiful light diffuser. As in nature, this piece can grow to adapt to any interior space.
Living Area with Kitchen
For the 135 m² living area of this Berlin apartment, we conceived a fully integrated kitchen, which becomes less of a kitchen and much more of a living and bar zone.
Kitchen Bench
A niche develops from our room-high kitchen installation, which, lying directly by the window, offers space for a chaise lounge or bench. A beautiful place not in the kitchen, but in the kitchen that invites you to enjoy and watch.
Beautiful Structure
The monochrome color world of the master bathroom is made exciting by differently structured surfaces: grooved tiles and the 3D wallpaper behind the bathtub are just two examples.
Dark Side:
Our alternative design for the main bathroom shows a dark variant of the monochrome original version – the floor and base are covered with a softly shiny, black porcelain stoneware tile with a natural stone look. Inspiration for this world of colors is Berlin in the 1920s.

Alcove Villa
Blue is beautiful
The typical deep blue of the sky over Mykonos is reflected as a strong color accent in all of the hotel’s suites: as the fabric covering of the upholstered furniture, as the wall color, as the high-gloss tiles in the shower and as the colored wood paneling.
Garden Villa
Private Pool:
Each villa has its own pool with lounge area, rocking chair and sunbathing area. The wall installation made of folded and perforated metal by the pool appears as a light at night.
Hideaway Villa
Celestial Eye:
The outdoor area of the Hideaway Villa is covered by a whitewashed roof with an oval cutout – a worthy frame for the bright sky over Mykonos.
Junior Suite Panorama
Heavenly views:
This suite’s panoramic views over the legendary Mykonos Paradise Beach are wild and breathtakingly beautiful.
Junior Suites with Private Pool
Watercolors:
The color concept of the interior and exterior areas plays with all shades of ocean blue: light gray-blue, soft Caribbean turquoise blue in the pool, rich royal blue as the upholstery cover, matt green-blue as the wall color…
Paradise Villa
play of shadow
The coarsely structured screen between the sleeping area and the free-standing base tub in the Paradise Suite creates a beautiful shadow on the whitewashed walls.

A little Picasso on Mykonos:
Our wall graphic for the covered seating area in the Amyth restaurant is reminiscent of Picasso’s cubist black and white paintings. What’s special here is that the graphic is not an outdoor wallpaper, but a glass panel printed on the back.
Skillful curves:
An amorphous table that serves as a reception desk and curved cutouts on the ceiling that are shaped like puddles of water give the lobby momentum and dynamism.
Blue Hour:
At dusk, the otherwise deep blue sky turns into all shades of violet and rose.

Complementary Contrast:
Our color scheme for the large foyer is essentially based on a gentle contrast between soft green and a pale brick red. The tension created in this way in the room is further strengthened by black door frames, a black light installation and an anthracite-colored ceramic bench.
Vertical – Design
Vertical stripes structure the walls. Vertical discs made of brass divide the mailbox system into zones.

Suite A
Excitingly monochrome:
Suite A is mainly presented in sand and gray silver tones. These vary in material and surface and create a gentle, almost meditative atmosphere.
Pop Art – Heaven’s Gate
Our wall design in the bathroom contrasts with the monochrome interior. The Ora Blu wallpaper from Wall & Deco creates an artificial perspective across numerous successive archways. The space in the bathroom seems endless…
Swing – experience
Floating between inside and outside, the floating lounger “Shibui” by Paola Lenti awaits guests.
Suite B
Consistently focused:
We positioned the lush white bed centrally in the axis of the room with a perfect view of Super Paradise Beach.

Walkway to Lyo
All paths to the hotel’s individual villas are deliberately staged like walkways that float over fictitious water surfaces or invite special views and perspectives.
La Vie en Rose…:
The glazing of the stairs to the fitness area looks like pink sunglasses. The atmosphere of vacation, sun and sea is enhanced with a little wink.
Fitness First:
The beauty and fitness area in the cool basement is small but nice and not only invites you to exercise, but also to take a sauna and feel good.

Hillside Terraces
The extreme hillside location of the house motivated us to design the outdoor facilities in the form of terraces. Structured plaster and natural stone are the main materials of the wall panels, some of which are accentuated by circular wall lights and uplights.
Aerie
This terrace hovers high above the lake with a breathtaking view of the landscape and lake. At night, Artemide uplights and large decorative circles of light illuminate the scene and transform the terrace into a mystical, floating place.

Staircase Theatre:
A central, straight staircase made of steel, glass and natural stone in front of a wall made of rough quartzite forms the back of the house and is at the same time a theater – a stage for the living room in front of it.
Throne Room
With a room height of 500 cm and a comparatively minimal room size of 1.7 m², the guest toilet is of very unusual proportionality. We use this feature to put a particularly large and high hat made of plasterboard, wallpaper and mirror on the little room.
Light Dome
The whirlpool tub in the master bathroom is crowned by a glass skylight, which is filled with water and illuminated from above. The reflection of the water movements and the light results in a beautiful play of light and shadows on the walls next to the tub.
