The banana-shaped concrete stone for the driveway is made in Italy, is completely permeable to water and can be laid completely individually like a mosaic. The long driveway has a playful, emotional component.

Columba – clinker

Almost the entire facade of the villa is covered with Kolumba clinker from Petersen Tegl. Kolumba™ was developed in 2000 as a joint project by the Swiss architect Peter Zumthor and Petersen Tegl for the Kolumba Museum in Cologne.

Fireplace:

To sit around this fireplace is to linger around the campfire as it used to be: a fire place in the room that can be seen from three sides and thus becomes the central figure in the room.

Sleep with swing:

The back of the bed in the master bedroom swings in waves right up to the ceiling. Integrated is the air conditioning, storage space and an open compartment as a shelf for bedtime reading.

Children’s Paradise

Our children’s room in the basement of the house is a cinema, handicraft room and cuddle zone at the same time.

Shadow, light and warmth…

The large parasol from Tuuci called Ocean Master doesn’t just provide shade – when it’s dark, the lamp in the heart of the umbrella provides light, and when it’s cold, two elegant radiant heaters warm the garden lover.

Pool – Party

Not only the large terrace with lounge area complements the Caribbean green pool, but also a deck made of natural stone that is ideal for sunbathing and, if necessary, dancing.

Hortus Conclusus

Like a monastery garden, our townhouse garden is surrounded all around by a wooden fence and laurel hedges. Within the perimeter there are beds with herbs, flowering plants, a magnolia tree and tropical plants in pots. A raised terrace with a padded bench and sun protection invites you to eat and drink together.

Idea and Truth

The path from a great idea to a workable drawing is rocky and lengthy. Programs like Rhinoceros 3D, which make it possible to program any shape and structure, are helpful.

Miracle – workshop

The tables were completely assembled and reassembled in the carpentry workshop, even when they were unfinished, in order to check the proportions and statics.

Bad Machine

…is the name of the steelworker who dared to construct our fire sculpture and side tables in the lounge area – planners and steel builders have to invest a lot of manual work and joy in experimenting in order to make our idea a reality.

Cookie Cutter Shape

Each cutout in the illuminated side tables next to the lounge sofas is individually lasered out of the steel by hand.

Eagle Ray Bar

Flydeck counter on motor yacht Pandion Pearl

Milled solid surface material
Design Studio ASH – 2021

Ray Skin

We dressed the bar on the sundeck in a robe made of ray skin. A milled and bent solid surface material serves as the carrier for the pattern, which glows beautifully at night due to the different thicknesses of the material.

Ray Wings:

Like large wings, the illuminated counter swings over the flying top level of the yacht.

Mountain and valley

As a reminiscence of the not-so-distant mountains behind the Bavarian capital, we designed this very graphic, black and white wallpaper, which, upon closer inspection, consists of endless differently shaped drops and dots.

Technology – wallpaper

The Pandion office building is being built on the site of the old Zündapp factory south of Munich’s Ostbahnhof. Our “technology wallpaper” shows Zündapp patents, some of which never became reality, and is reminiscent of the history of the place.

Draft 01

Pool – pavilion

The 14 meter long pool is crowned by a shady arbor made of rotating steel slats in dark anthracite. The pavilion houses the summer kitchen with grill and a lounge area with a sofa, carpet and loose armchairs.

Hortus Conclusus

The wellness area on the lower floor of the house can be experienced via a free-floating stone staircase that leads directly to the pavilion. The pool with a glass pane at the end sits like a large aquarium in the garden and functions like an oversized light at night.

Draft 02

Art of Forms:

The different levels of the house can be seen from the outside thanks to the clear demarcation of individual buildings. The garden floor opens up to the surrounding nature through massive glazing. The homeowner’s private study is located far back in the roof, floating like a nest above all other floors.
